Heavyweight champion 1882 to 1892... Beautifully autographed in black ink on the photographers mount... "Compliments of John L. Sullivan To Frank Hall my friend Dec. 25th 1909"... Frank Hall was John L's manager and friend, the following February 7th he would be the best man at Sullivan's wedding to Kate Harkins and would also arrange Sullivan's tour of the English Isles and accompany the Sullivans that same winter
Mount has an indented "Apeda Studio's" seal at bottom right
measures: 5.25 x 8"
Overall condition is fine... Rare and attractive!!
